The betty slipover is knitted from the bottom and up.

Betty Slipover is a beautiful slipover knitted only in ribbed knitting. It is easy and straightforward for beginners as well as intermediate knitters. It is knitted from the bottom up and has the most amazing high neck. Included in this knitting pattern you'll find how-to videos for all the techniques that are used to make the slipover.

Sizeguide:

The size of this pattern varies from XS-2XL. Bust measurements (the widest part of your upper body) on the finished garment are as following:

XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL)

75 (78) 87 (99) 113 (128) cm.

This slipover should have a positive ease of 0-10 cm smaller than your bust circumference. This means, that the slipover is designed to be 0-10 cm smaller in circumference than your bust measurement. This way, the slipover gets a relatively slim fit. It is ribbed knitting, so it’s very flexible. If you prefer a more loose fit, you can always knit it in a bigger size. The sizes are designed to fit a bust circumference of:

80-84 (84-92) 92-100 (100-110) 110-122 (122-134) cm

Materials:
Circular needle 7 mm 80 cm
Circular needle 7 mm 40 cm

Yarn:
Drops Snow/Eskimo with a length of 50 meters pr. 50 grams. The tag on your ball of yarn will tell you if your yarn has the right length and weight (50m pr 50g). You can use a different yarn if you like, but make sure it fits the gauge.

You’ll need the following amount of yarn:
XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL)

400 (400) 500 (500) 600 (700) gram

Gauge: To get your slipover in the right size, you’ll need to know your knitting gauge. Your gauge is how many stitches and rows fits into 10x10cm. This pattern calls for a gauge where 14sts and 16 rows in ribbed knitting measures 10x10cm.
